Angel Fire Shooting School is a South Texas company owned by Bert C. "Butch" Engel, an expert in the field of weapons training, based in the South Texas coast area. Butch has extensive military, law enforcement, civilian firearm and instructor experience.
Angel Fire Shooting School offers a wide range of classes to suit most any skill level. We make it easy to take your first shots and progress into advanced classes. You will learn everything you need to know to properly, safely and efficiently operate your weapon. Safety is always our first goal. We also offer an enjoyable experience.
Proper weapon training can make the difference between life and death. In the event of an attack - you must be decisive and precise in firing your weapon. Firearm carriers - especially those with concealed carry/permit to carry rights must be able to maintain the mental acuity required for successful decision making under extreme stress.
The ability to keep it together mentally and remember the lessons learned in firearms training is pivotal when your life is at stake.
Four Cardinal Gun Rules
- Always treat every firearm as if it is loaded.
- Always point your firearm in a safe direction.
- Always keep your finger outside of the trigger guard until you are on target and ready to shoot.
- Always be sure of your target and what is beyond it.
